1976: Established Towa Sho-un Co., Ltd., beginning overseas vessel management operations. <\/p>\n

1980: Started domestic shipping operations. <\/p>\n

1981: Reorganized and renamed as Santoku Senpaku Co., Ltd., starting overseas vessel ownership operations and partnering with Orophil Shipping. <\/p>\n

2000: Moved headquarters to the current location and established Hiroshima Joint Shipping Co., Ltd. <\/p>\n

2011: Signed a long-term charter contract with Rio Tinto for Capesize bulk carriers. <\/p>\n

2022: Placed multiple orders for 7,500-car capacity LNG-fueled vessels with the Fujian Group (China). <\/p>\n
